Facility Name and Address: Lane Regional Medical Center, 6300 Main Street, Zachary, LA 70791

Licensed Beds: 131

Average Daily Census: 60-70, 80 is the goal

Position (needing coverage): Interim Staff Pharmacist

What skills are required: Inpatient experience, Sterile compounding/EPIC EMR trained preferred

Is the specific state license required? Yes Louisiana

Dates of Coverage needed: Start ASAP, minimum 90 days of coverage with possibility of extension (Would consider temp to perm candidates)

Coverage Hours needed: Open 7a-9p, shifts at 7:00-3:30p or 12:30p-9p. 40 hours/week needed… shifts/days will vary.

Is weekend coverage needed? yes, same hours

Will this person need to take on-call? yes, rotating on call. avg 5-7 days/month

Order Entry System: EPIC, experience preferred but can train

Site Automation: no automation, there are Pyxis devices and inventory management system

Staff Size: Fully staffed is 6 Pharmacist FTE and 3 Pharmacy Tech FTE

Tech’s role: tech support with Pyxis, pharmacist complete IVs

How many days of training/orientation are required prior to start? One day of orientation required, the remaining is flexible depending on additional training needs of the candidate.

Dress Code: Navy scrubs or business casual. Scrubs are preferred to perform IV compounding if necessary

HR Requirements: Waiting on the requirements and will share once I have.
