If you know how to build a successful partnership between a consumer brand and a home improvement retailer, this role brings together national account influence and hands-on sales leadership.

Think Talent is partnering with GALE Pacific to appoint a National Sales Manager for its Americas Home Center business.  The company behind Coolaroo combines Australian heritage with global product development and manufacturing expertise. Its shade and outdoor living products help people create more comfortable, usable outdoor spaces.

Your opportunity
Reporting to the VP Sales & Trade Marketing Americas, you'll lead a Key Account Manager, Sales Analyst and part-time Merchandiser. You'll have scope to shape account strategy, develop your team and influence how products reach customers in stores and online.

Your priorities will include:

  • Growing retail sales and distribution while protecting profitability.
  • Leading product line reviews and securing retailer support for launches.
  • Coaching the team and building relationships across retailer functions.
  • Turning sales, inventory and promotional insights into better forecasts and execution.
  • Working with Marketing, Product and Supply Chain to deliver on customer commitments.


What will help you succeed

  • You bring experience managing a sales team and working with home center retailers, backed by at least five years' relevant sales experience.
  • You understand the commercial detail behind an account plan and can show how you've influenced buyers, grown a category or improved team performance.
  • Experience in home improvement, outdoor living, garden, building products or adjacent consumer categories could translate well.


Based in Charlotte, you'll work Tuesday to Thursday in the office, with Monday and Friday remote.
