Overview

A leading international trading and sourcing organisation is expanding its regional sourcing team and is looking for experienced Merchandisers across multiple product categories.

Current openings include:

• Merchandiser — FMCG / Sundry
• Merchandiser — Building Materials
• Merchandiser — Automotive

These roles are responsible for driving end-to-end sourcing, supplier management, product development, pricing control, and order execution across international markets. You will work closely with suppliers, logistics, sales, and cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence and commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end merchandising activities, including sourcing, RFQ, supplier negotiation, order placement, and shipment coordination.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers across China and Asia.
• Handle product development, costing analysis, pricing strategy, and supplier performance management.
• Coordinate with quality, logistics, sourcing, and sales teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor market trends, product performance, and sourcing opportunities to support business growth.
• Ensure timely delivery, accurate documentation, and compliance with customer requirements.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate supplier, pricing, and order data.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 4–5 years' experience in merchandising, sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Experience in one or more of the following categories:
  • FMCG / Consumer Goods / Sundry Products
  • Building Materials / Construction Products
  • Automotive / Vehicle Parts / Machinery Products
• Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.
• Hands-on experience working with manufacturers and suppliers in China.
