What You'll Be Doing
- Operating cremation and ashes processing equipment in line with company procedures.
- Loading, operating and monitoring cremation equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assisting with receiving, unloading and managing pets within the facility.
- Carrying out cremation processes with care, precision and attention to detail.
- Preparing and processing ashes while ensuring quality standards are maintained.
- Completing accurate records, tagging and data entry throughout the cremation process.
- Supporting families attending private viewings when required.
- Assisting with the collection and delivery of pets and ashes where needed.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and workplace safety.
- Conducting basic equipment maintenance and reporting faults or operational issues.
- Working closely with the wider operations team to ensure a smooth and efficient service.

We're looking for someone who:
- Is respectful, compassionate and comfortable working in a sensitive environment
- Is comfortable working in a high-temperature industrial environment.
- Is physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
- Has experience operating machinery, equipment or power tools.
- Is practical and hands-on, and isn't afraid to get stuck in
- Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in their work
- Has good computer skills and can confidently complete records and administration
- Is comfortable working independently and taking ownership of their day
- Is reliable, professional and able to maintain confidentiality
- Is comfortable working around deceased pets and understands the importance of treating them with dignity and care.
- Holds or is willing to obtain a Q Fever vaccination.
