Site Manager - Industrial & Commercial

We’re currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established and growing Queensland construction business with a strong pipeline of industrial and commercial projects across Greater Brisbane.

This is a newly created opportunity driven by continued growth and several recent large-scale project wins, providing the successful candidate with the opportunity to take ownership of major projects and play a key role within the delivery team.

With a strong reputation for quality project delivery and long-standing relationships across clients, consultants and subcontractors, the business has built a solid presence in the Queensland construction market. With further growth ahead, they are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their team and lead the successful delivery of major projects.

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day site management of industrial and commercial projects valued up to $80M, working closely with the Project Manager and wider project team to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day delivery and management of the construction site
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site personnel
• Manage site programs, sequencing and construction methodology
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to specification
• Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship
• Coordinate with Project Managers, consultants and subcontractors
• Identify and resolve construction issues as they arise
• Drive site safety, compliance and overall project performance

About You

• Proven experience managing projects valued at $30M+
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and site operations
• Excellent leadership and subcontractor management skills
• A strong understanding of WHS, quality and compliance requirements
• The ability to manage programs, sequencing and competing priorities
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• A hands-on, organised and proactive approach to project delivery
