Nikkei Tech - Head of Talent Acquisition - Tokyo

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the TA function to support company-wide growth across multiple business divisions.
• Build Medley’s workforce strategy, annual hiring plan, and organizational pipeline.
• Redesign TA processes leveraging AI, automation, and internal platforms.
• Drive measurable improvements across time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, funnel efficiency, and hiring quality.
• Strengthen employer branding and ensure a high‑quality candidate experience.
• Partner closely with the CHRO, CEO, and executive leaders on workforce planning and head count prioritization.
• Implement dashboards, reporting standards, and TA governance frameworks.
• Manage and up skill TA Managers and Recruiters through coaching, calibration, and performance management.
• Support global hiring initiatives (notably Japan, U.S. and Philippines customer success and operations teams).
• Establish standard operating procedures and process documentation for a scalable TA architecture.

Candidate Profile

Experience Requirements

• 10+ years in Talent Acquisition with proven leadership in complex or high-growth organizations
• Strong grounding in Japanese corporate HR combined with modern, tech‑driven TA experience
• Experience managing large TA teams and senior stakeholders
• Expertise in ATS/HRIS tools, recruiting automation, and data-driven hiring
• Fluency in Japanese; English proficiency beneficial
• Track record in process improvement and operational excellence
