Role Overview
Reporting to the Senior Manager Ageing & Inclusion, this role provides dedicated support to both the Senior Manager Ageing & Inclusion and the Senior Manager Families & Young People.
This is far more than a traditional administration role. You will become a trusted support partner, helping leaders stay organised, coordinate key activities, prepare reports and correspondence, and ensure important work continues to move forward.
Working closely with managers and teams across the organisation, you will play a key role in anticipating needs, tracking deadlines, coordinating priorities and supporting the delivery of services that make a genuine difference in the community.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high level administrative and business support to two Senior Managers
- Manage calendars, meetings, workflows and competing priorities
- Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence and briefing materials
- Support Council and Committee reporting processes
- Coordinate action items, deadlines and departmental deliverables
- Assist with research, projects and process improvement initiatives
- Support purchase order processing, administration and team activities
- Build strong working relationships across Council
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Previous experience as a Business Support Officer, Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or similar role
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written communication and report writing capability
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated initiative, judgement and problem solving skills
- Confidence working with stakeholders at all levels
- Local Government or Government experience highly regarded
