Technical Superintendent, Bunker Fleet

Keep Singapore's bunker tankers safe, compliant and earning.

Angle Recruitment has partnered with a bunker tanker operator in Singapore, the world's busiest bunkering port, to appoint a Technical Superintendent for its fleet. This is an urgent hire and the client is moving quickly.

In short, your job is to keep the vessels running, the inspectors satisfied and the downtime to a minimum.

• Take technical responsibility for an assigned group of bunker tankers
• Plan and oversee maintenance, repairs and drydockings
• Make sure the fleet meets class, flag, MPA and vetting requirements
• Manage vessel budgets and work with suppliers and shipyards to keep costs in check
• Support the crews on board and respond quickly when issues arise

You'll bring tanker seagoing experience as Chief, Second or Third Engineer, holding at least a Class 1 to 3 COC, or at least 2 years as a Technical Superintendent for oil or bunker tankers. Integrity matters in this role, as does the ability to lead, work across teams and communicate clearly in written and spoken English.

In return, you'll get a hands on role in a busy fleet where your work is seen every day, and a competitive local salary.
