Head of Trade

Angle Recruitment has partnered with an established shipping company to appoint its next Head of Trade.
 
Based in Singapore, you'll lead the trade and commercial strategy across key international markets, with responsibility for growth, profitability and execution.

• Set and deliver the trade and commercial strategy
• Drive pricing, yield, forecasting, capacity and P&L performance
• Develop new commercial opportunities and strengthen existing trade performance
• Manage key relationships with terminals, vendors, agents and partners
• Work closely with Sales, Network, Operations, Procurement and Finance
• Lead and develop a high-performing team

You'll bring senior commercial or trade experience in shipping, ideally from a carrier, with strong knowledge of international trade markets and a track record across pricing, yield, P&L and commercial strategy.
 
You'll be commercially driven, analytical and hands-on, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and turn strategy into results.
