Our client is a global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructure. They are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter to join their team.

This position is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday on day shift based in Prestons.
  
What we are looking for:

• Australian Trade Qualified Maintenance Fitter with the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience on both breakdown and preventative maintenance
• Fault finding and problem-solving skills

Job Description:

• Performing routine maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting on machinery and equipment
• Maintain and repair mechanical systems including hydraulics and pneumatics
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues
• Preventative maintenance
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Ability to read technical drawings

Skills

• Good mechanical aptitude and confident with the use of hand /power tools and workshop machines
• Welding and Fabricating skills
• Forklift Licence (Desirable)
• EWP Licence (Desirable)
• Knowledge of Industrial machinery and mechanical systems (desirable)
