Senior Director - Philanthropic Foundation (several key roles)

A major player in the philanthropic ecosystem is seeking key leadership roles to support its ongoing growth and team development.

These positions are open to candidates from outside of the sector but will require:

- Complex stakeholder management capabilities
- Exceptional project management and convening skills
- Experience of working within large /regulated environments

- Fluency in English and Cantonese with Mandarin an advantage

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of social impact programs within a defined sector (e.g. healthcare, education, youth, elderly)
• Overseeing grant review and deployment, handling compliance and regulatory factors
• Providing leadership to sizeable teams and ensuring resource deployment aligns with project milestones
• Internal and external stakeholder management including senior management, external partners and government departments and officials
• Building a strong network within the relevant sector and raising organisational profile at appropriate events via attendance and speaking engagements

Requirements

• You will likely have 15 years of experience or more in order to have developed the necessary maturity in stakeholder management
• You will have managed complex projects in large organisations with more weight given to those that are publicly accountable and/or heavily regulated
• You will already be a capable people manager and leader
• Experience in engaging with government bodies will be an advantage
• Exceptional spoken and written communication skills in English and Cantonese, with Mandarin an advantage
