Delivery Solutions Architect (Big Data)

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of large-scale data platform and transformation initiatives across enterprise environments. This role combines technical architecture, stakeholder engagement, and delivery leadership to help organizations modernize their data ecosystems and enable data-driven business capabilities.
The ideal candidate has strong experience working with enterprise data platforms, cloud technologies, and complex transformation programs involving cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and delivery of enterprise-scale big data and analytics solutions.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performing data platform architectures across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into solution designs and implementation roadmaps.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of data transformation initiatives, including migration, modernization, integration, and optimization projects.
• Provide technical leadership across data engineering, integration, governance, and analytics workstreams.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and best practices.
• Support solution planning, estimation, risk management, and delivery governance activities.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and external partners to ensure successful project execution.
• Conduct architecture reviews, technical workshops, and solution assessments.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to data platforms, AI/ML enablement, and cloud data ecosystems.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Delivery Architect, or similar role within enterprise technology environments.
• Experience working across big data and enterprise data platforms such as Cloudera, Apache Hadoop ecosystems, Oracle Corporation data platforms, Teradata, Google Cloud (GCP), Databricks, and/or Amazon Web Services / Microsoft Azure data environments. 
• Hands-on knowledge of data engineering concepts, including ETL/ELT, data lakes, data warehouses, streaming, and distributed processing frameworks.
• Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns, API architectures, and data governance practices.
• Experience leading large-scale delivery engagements involving multiple stakeholders and technical teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, complex enterprise environments.

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to modern analytics, AI/ML, or real-time data processing platforms.
• Experience with enterprise transformation, modernization, or migration programs.
• Relevant cloud or architecture certifications are advantageous.
