Housing Officer

We’re partnering with a valued community housing provider who is seeking a proactive Housing Officer to step in on a 3 month temporary contract. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys tenancy support work but is equally confident managing rent arrears, administration tasks and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Supporting rent arrears management, including follow ups, payment plans and accurate record keeping
• Providing administrative support across a specific allocated housing portfolio
• Assisting with tenancy queries and general housing service coordination
• Ensuring timely and compliant documentation to support the broader Housing team

Key Requirements: 

• Previous experience in Housing, Community Services or similar community focused environments
• Strong administration and organisational skills
• Confident communicator with the ability to work with sensitivity and professionalism
• Someone who can hit the ground running in a fast paced environment
• Working with Children's, NDIS & National Police Check required or willingness to obtain
