Senior Project Engineer

An established design and construction contractor is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join a major marine infrastructure project in Victoria. With a strong pipeline of secured work and multiple projects underway nationally, this is an opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of a high-profile heavy civil construction project.

The Project Involves:

• Marine infrastructure upgrades and wharf strengthening works
• Installation of large-diameter steel piles
• Heavy-duty concrete structures and pavements
• Drainage and ground improvement works
• Management of complex subcontractor interfaces and site delivery activities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project engineering activities across construction delivery
• Manage subcontractors, procurement and contract administration
• Coordinate construction planning, scheduling and work packs
• Support commercial management, cost control and reporting
• Work closely with project management and client stakeholders

About You

• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction, with 2-5 years in supervision or project management
• Proven experience delivering major civil, marine, infrastructure or industrial projects
• Strong subcontract management and commercial acumen
• Ability to manage multiple work fronts in a fast-paced environment
