About the Role: Our Federal Government Client is seeking a part-time Senior Project Officer.
This is a long-term contract role for an initial term to be advised with extension options available, located at our client's Canberra office. 

As the selected candidate, you will:

• Provide business management and project coordination support across ICT and business transformation programs.
• Coordinate project reporting, including financial, workforce, risk and performance reporting.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial monitoring and reconciliation activities.
• Support procurement, contract administration and vendor engagement activities.
• Maintain project documentation, registers and governance artefacts.
• Support workforce planning, onboarding, offboarding and administrative processes.
• Prepare briefing papers, reports, presentations and correspondence for senior stakeholders.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support audit, assurance and compliance activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and strategic project support.

To be successful in this role you should have:

• Demonstrated experience providing business management, governance and administrative support within complex ICT, program or project delivery environments.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasting, procurement coordination, contract administration and financial reporting.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills across multiple organisational levels.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes independently.
• Experience supporting project governance, reporting and business operations functions.

It is desirable if you have:

• Experience supporting ICT, digital transformation, intelligence or law enforcement programs.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in business management, finance, procurement or a related discipline.

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with the ability to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) Security Clearance.
