About the role

This role is critical in ensuring system stability, minimising service disruptions, and driving continuous improvement across the IT environment. You will collaborate closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to restore services quickly and prevent future issues.

Role Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the response to major incidents, ensuring timely communication and resolution.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis for recurring issues and drive the creation of corrective and preventative actions.
  • Maintain and improve incident and problem management processes in line with best‑practice frameworks.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Proven experience in incident management, problem management, or similar IT service management roles.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL practices and service management frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and root cause analysis skills.
The successful candidate will be solutions‑focused professional with the ability to lead confidently during high‑pressure incidents. They will bring strong analytical thinking, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for improving processes to prevent future issues and enhance service reliability.

Security Requirements:

Due to the nature of the work environment, our client requires candidates to hold an active TSPV Security Clearance, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered. The successful candidate will need to undergo an additional security assessment before commencing in the role.
