Assistant Store Manager - North Lakes

We’re looking for an experienced, people-focused Assistant Store Manager to join a successful and high-performing retail store in North Lakes.

Working closely with the Store Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading the team, driving sales performance and creating an exceptional customer experience. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys coaching others, building genuine customer relationships and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Your responsibilities:

• Support the Store Manager with the day-to-day leadership of the store
• Lead, coach and develop the team to achieve sales and service targets
• Deliver a knowledgeable, consultative and customer-focused experience
• Assist with rostering, stock control, inventory and store operations
• Maintain high standards across merchandising and store presentation
• Monitor performance against KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement
• Ensure company policies, procedures and operational standards are followed
• Take ownership of the store in the Store Manager’s absence

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager, Supervisor or senior retail leader
• Strong leadership skills with a genuine passion for team development
• Confidence working in a fast-paced and results-driven retail environment
• A customer-first approach and passion for consultative selling
• Experience with stock control, visual merchandising and achieving KPIs
• Strong operational skills and high standards for store presentation
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate a team
• Ambition to continue growing your career within retail management
