These roles involve outdoor site maintenance tasks across bushland, recycling areas, and operational roads. Candidates may work across multiple duties depending on experience and site requirements.
Key Duties
Litter Picking:
- Establish safe work areas using signage and traffic cones
- Manual collection of wind-blown litter along operational roads (bitumen and limestone tracks) and within bushland
- Use of litter grabbers or golf stick pokers
- Place litter into plastic bags and safely position for collection by site staff
- Large or heavy items handled by two personnel
Essential Criteria
- Construction White Card
- C class Drivers Licence
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Comfortable working outdoors in varied weather and terrain
- Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions
- Be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening\National Police Clearance dated within the last 6 months
PPE Requirements
All personnel must supply and wear:
- Long pants and long-sleeve hi-visibility shirt
- Gloves
- Safety Glasses
- Steel-capped boots
- Hat (preferably wide brim)
- Personal water bottle
