Portfolio Services - Equity (Associate to VP level)

Introduction:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional for the role of Associate to Vice President in Portfolio Services with a focus on Equity, located in Tokyo. This position is perfect for individuals with a solid background in equity products and strategies who are eager to provide exceptional client services and support our growing client base in East Asia.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be a key member of the Client Platform Group, responsible for delivering high-quality services to clients, including client reporting, presentations, and product analysis. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including investment teams, client portfolio managers, and sales teams, to ensure that our East Asia clients receive outstanding support and insights related to equity and multi-asset strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct presentations at client meetings, seminars, and study sessions focusing on equity and multi-asset strategies.
• Develop and deliver client materials and commentaries on investment capabilities, market conditions, and macroeconomic factors.
• Prepare thoroughly for client meetings, including researching clients and creating preparatory materials.
• Address client inquiries regarding portfolio data, fund performance, investment details, and market outlook.
• Collaborate with sales and product management teams in East Asia to explore and develop new business opportunities.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience in the financial industry with a focus on equity products and strategies.
• Strong knowledge of equity investment and portfolio analysis, including performance metrics, attribution, and exposure.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills in Japanese; English proficiency is preferred.
• Detail-oriented with the capability to communicate effectively with subject matter experts and incorporate feedback from investment, sales, and legal teams.
