Junior Software Developer / IT Support Analyst Brisbane CBD | Permanent Opportunity

Unlike a traditional development role, this position offers exposure across software development, systems support, database management, integrations, and general IT operations, giving you the chance to rapidly broaden your technical skillset.
What You'll Be Doing

• Assisting with the development and maintenance of internal business applications using .NET technologies
• Supporting API development and system integrations between business platforms
• Writing and maintaining SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions
• Troubleshooting software issues and providing technical support to internal users
• Assisting with Service Desk requests and user support
• Supporting minor system administration activities across business systems
• Working alongside experienced developers and technical specialists on a variety of projects
• Identifying opportunities to improve business processes through technology

What We're Looking For

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or similar
• Exposure to .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core or similar)
• Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, and modern software development principles
• SQL and database knowledge
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
• Someone who enjoys variety and is comfortable switching between development, support, and systems-related tasks
• A proactive attitude and genuine desire to build a long-term career in technology

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Azure or cloud technologies
• Experience with REST APIs
• Understanding of source control tools such as Git
• Experience within a Service Desk, Help Desk, or support environment
