We’re seeking a seasoned infrastructure professional who thrives in complex environments and enjoys shaping stable, secure, high‑performing platforms for enterprise customers. This role suits someone who takes ownership, mentors others, and brings deep technical capability across modern compute and virtualisation stacks.

About the Role
You’ll be responsible for the ongoing reliability and optimisation of our clients’ core compute environments. Your work will span server platforms, virtualisation technologies, and backup systems, with a strong focus on performance, resilience, and continuous improvement.

Your day‑to‑day will include:

• Managing and enhancing enterprise server platforms built on Cisco UCS and Nutanix
• Administering VMware environments, ensuring stability and best‑practice configuration
• Providing expert guidance on capacity planning, performance tuning, and environment uplift
• Supporting backup and recovery operations using Veeam
• Maintaining and troubleshooting Dell server hardware
• Applying security and compliance principles aligned to ISM and industry standards
• Coaching junior team members and contributing to a collaborative engineering culture

Essential Experience

• 5+ years working across enterprise infrastructure operations
• Strong hands‑on capability with Cisco UCS, Nutanix, and VMware
• Solid experience with Veeam backup technologies
• Familiarity with Dell server platforms
• Understanding of ISM controls and secure system design
• Excellent diagnostic, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to mentor and support less‑experienced engineers
• Confident communicator who works well with customers and internal teams

Desirable Skills:

• Azure, Entra ID, Active Directory
• Windows Server, RHEL
• NetApp storage
• ManageEngine toolsets
• Additional Veeam expertise
• Certifications across Cisco or VMware technologies
