Site Manager | Tier 1 Commercial Builder | Contract Opportunity
I'm currently working with a leading Tier 1 commercial builder that has an immediate requirement for an experienced Site Manager to join a major commercial project on an initial contract basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with a proven background delivering large-scale commercial construction projects. You'll play a key role in managing day to day site operations, coordinating trades, driving programme outcomes and ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality are maintained throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage all day to day site activities from structure through to completion.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.
• Monitor construction programme and proactively manage site activities to achieve project milestones.
• Maintain a strong focus on site safety, quality assurance and compliance.
• Coordinate site logistics, deliveries and trade sequencing.
• Chair site meetings, toolbox talks and subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Work closely with the Project Manager, Contract Administrator and project team to achieve project objectives.
• Identify construction issues early and implement practical solutions.
• Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
About You
• Previous experience as a Site Manager delivering commercial construction projects with a Tier 1 or reputable Tier 2 builder.
• Strong experience managing projects valued at $50M+.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple trades and stakeholders.
• Sound understanding of construction methodologies, site safety and quality management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and confidently drive programme outcomes.
• Trade qualification or tertiary qualification in Construction Management or a related discipline is highly regarded.
