Brisbane CBD | Senior Leadership | Workplace Relations | Employment Law | Business Growth
Our client is one of Queensland's leading member-based organisations, supporting thousands of businesses through expert workplace advice, advocacy, consulting and business services.
As their Workplace Services division continues to evolve, an exceptional opportunity exists for an experienced senior Workplace Relations leader to shape the future of this highly respected practice.
Reporting to the General Manager - Business Advisory & Membership, you will lead a multidisciplinary Workplace Services team while driving the strategic growth, commercial performance and ongoing evolution of the division.
This is far more than a traditional Workplace Relations leadership role. It is an opportunity to lead and grow an established advisory practice, influence workplace policy across Queensland, develop new commercial service offerings and shape the future direction of one of the state's most respected employer advisory organisations.
The Role
As Head of Workplace Services, you will provide strategic leadership across the Workplace Services function while driving commercial growth and strengthening the organisation's position as Queensland's trusted workplace advisory partner.
No two weeks will look the same. You'll balance Senior leadership, commercial growth, stakeholder engagement and technical expertise, with your focus progressively evolving from hands-on consulting towards leading and growing the Workplace Services business.
Rather than carrying a full advisory caseload, you'll provide technical leadership on complex workplace matters while dedicating increasing time to developing new consulting opportunities, building strategic partnerships, influencing workplace policy, expanding service offerings and shaping the long-term direction of the practice.
Working closely with the General Manager - Business Advisory & Membership, you'll lead the evolution of Workplace Services into an increasingly commercial, innovative and future-focused consulting business.
Your responsibilities will include:
You are a commercially minded Workplace Relations leader who combines technical credibility
with strategic thinking and strong business leadership.
You'll ideally bring:
This is an outstanding opportunity to shape one of Queensland's most respected Workplace Services practices while contributing to the success of thousands of employers across the state.
