Information Security Analyst

Overview

Client is seeking an Information Security Analyst to support security initiatives across data, cloud, and AI-driven environments. This role is ideal for an early to mid-career security professional with experience in cybersecurity, data platforms, cloud infrastructure, APIs, applications, internal tooling, and AI-assisted automation.

Core Responsibilities

• Support the design and creation of AI agents that enhance information security capabilities.
• Create and maintain automated agents for repeatable security requests, including access reviews, audit evidence collection, policy guidance, risk assessment intake, security documentation, and reporting.
• Define and implement guardrails for AI agents, including role-based access controls, least-privilege permissions, human-in-the-loop approvals, logging, monitoring, auditability, and escalation paths.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, and AI teams to integrate AI agents into existing workflows.
• Test and validate AI-driven security tools for accuracy, reliability, and ethical use.
• Participate in security reviews for new data and AI initiatives.
• Define KPIs to measure the effectiveness of AI agent automation.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies

• 5–7+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, cloud engineering, data engineering, or platform operations with security exposure.
• Hands-on experience supporting or securing data platforms, analytics environments, or cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience supporting or securing APIs, applications, or internal tooling.
• Exposure to AI or machine learning tools and platforms.
• Experience building automations, AI-assisted workflows, or participating in AI or data-related projects from a security perspective.
• Understanding of role-based access controls, least privilege, logging, monitoring, auditability, and human-in-the-loop approval models.
• Ability to work across security, engineering, data, and AI teams.

Preferred Skills or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Work Details

• Remote role.
• Candidates in all US locations may be considered.
• Must support Eastern Time.
• Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.
• Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• No overtime anticipated.
• 6-month anticipated assignment with possibility of extension based on demand.
• Two-round interview process: first round video interview with direct manager; second round panel video interview.
