We are currently working with a leading national HVAC contractor who are looking to add an experienced HVAC Site Manager to their Sydney team.
The business delivers a broad range of HVAC projects across commercial, residential, mixed-use, education and defence sectors. With a strong project pipeline, they are looking for a Site Manager who can take ownership of site delivery and confidently manage the expectations of builders, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.

The immediate project on offer is a significant student accommodation development in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, providing the opportunity to work on a large-scale project from delivery through to completion.

A key point of difference is the company's approach to site allocation — wherever possible, they look to place Site Managers on projects that are reasonably close to where they live.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of HVAC works on site, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to programme.
• Coordinate HVAC trades, subcontractors, suppliers and other site personnel to maintain project progress.
• Work closely with the builder, project team and other subcontractors to manage expectations, resolve issues and maintain strong relationships.
• Monitor installation quality, programme, materials and site coordination to ensure works are delivered in line with project requirements.
• Identify and manage site issues, variations and potential delays while keeping the wider project team informed.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience as an HVAC Site Manager, Foreman, Supervisor or similar within commercial HVAC construction.
• Strong understanding of HVAC installation, coordination and construction processes.
• Proven ability to work directly with builders and manage their expectations throughout a project.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple trades and stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to take ownership of site delivery and drive projects forward.
