The Role:
This Senior Brand Manager role will cover a maternity leave contract on the marketing team of the business's flagship brand, reporting to the Head of Marketing with an ABM as your direct report. There's a strong possibility of the role transitioning from contract to permanent, as the current Senior Brand Manager's own career path has shown, and flexibility for an earlier start to allow a solid handover.
- Lead above-the-line media, communications and content strategy, managing external creative, PR and media agencies
- Take full P&L ownership of a smaller, retail-only brand within the portfolio, with real scope to reposition it
- Lead annual brand planning, identifying growth opportunities across foodservice, retail and international markets
- Manage and develop an ABM while building strong relationships across influencer and agency partners
- Support new product launches with insight-led communications and channel plans
- Own the marketing budget and report on campaign performance, brand health and commercial outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related discipline
- 8+ years' brand marketing experience, ideally within food service or FMCG
- Proven experience managing and motivating agencies, including giving constructive feedback
- Strong stakeholder and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility quickly
- An analytical mindset, able to turn sales and consumer data into clear, actionable insight
- An independent, autonomous self-starter with strong time management and prioritisation
