Operations Support Agent

Barker Ross are currently recruiting for an Operations Support Agent to join a busy operation in Crayford.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a long-term role, with the potential to move into permanent employment for the right person.

The role:

• £14.02 per hour
• Monday to Friday
• 40 hours per week
• AM and PM shifts available
• Start date: ASAP
• Long-term opportunity
• Potential for permanent employment

What you'll be doing:

You'll be supporting the day-to-day operation and helping to keep everything running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

• Dealing with customer enquiries
• Investigating shipments
• Managing failed deliveries and collections
• Data entry and updating internal systems
• Communicating with drivers, customers and other stations
• Following processes and ensuring information is accurate
• Working to deadlines in a busy environment

We're looking for someone who:

• Is confident using computers and can learn new systems quickly
• Has good attention to detail
• Is comfortable working with data and emails
• Can work independently and use their own initiative
• Is confident communicating with different people
• Works well as part of a team
• Is reliable, professional and willing to learn
• Can stay organised and work well under pressure

Previous experience in operations, administration, customer service, logistics, transport or a similar role would be beneficial.
