Description: Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler / Baler Operator to join our warehouse team in Plano, TX. This position is responsible for safely handling materials, operating a baler, transporting products using a forklift, and maintaining an organized work area. The ideal candidate has forklift experience, basic computer skills, and a strong commitment to safety, attendance, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
Operate forklifts safely to move, load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
Operate a baler to compact recyclable materials according to established procedures.
Inspect equipment before use and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
Maintain accurate inventory and material movement records using basic computer systems.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA guidelines.
Assist with receiving, staging, and shipping materials as needed.
Work independently while meeting productivity and quality expectations.
Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required
Previous forklift operating experience.
Basic PC/computer skills.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
Strong commitment to workplace safety.
Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift.
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Preferred
Previous warehouse or material handling experience.
Experience operating a baler or similar equipment.
Forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification).

Physical Requirements
Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials.
Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the workday.
Safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with heavier items moved using equipment or team lifting.
Work Environment

This position is performed in a warehouse environment and candidates should be comfortable working under the following conditions:

High temperatures, particularly during the summer months.
Moderate to high noise levels from warehouse equipment and production activities.
Frequent material handling and operation of warehouse equipment.
Exposure to dust and varying warehouse conditions while following all required safety protocols.
