Finance & Business Control Manager

Our client is a growing Dutch organisation operating in a regulated, product-driven environment. We are currently recruiting a Finance & Business Control Manager to lead finance operations, corporate controls and business partnering.

This is a broad, hands-on role well suited to a qualified finance professional looking for visibility, responsibility and the opportunity to shape and modernize a Finance function.

In this position, you will work closely with senior stakeholders and play a key role in supporting decision-making across the business.

• Managing and developing the Finance and Business Control function
• Implementing and embedding corporate controls, policies and governance frameworks
• Delivering high-quality financial reporting under IFRS
• Acting as a proactive finance business partner to operational and commercial teams
• Driving process optimization, standardization, and automation, including identifying opportunities to leverage AI and digital tools
• Leading and delivering finance and systems-related projects
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
• Team management - coaching, mentoring and developing your team
• Building strong relationships across the organization with a collaborative, people-focused approach

Candidate Profile:

• Hold a chartered Accounting qualification (RA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent)
• 3-4 years’ post-qualification experience, including some exposure to industry
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS
• Experience implementing or improving finance processes and corporate controls
• A clear interest in process improvement, automation, and digital finance
• Solid project management skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with non-finance stakeholders
• Fluent Dutch (essential)
