Responsibilities and Duties
As the Human Resources Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources function.
- Managing recruitment activities and supporting workforce planning initiatives.
- Overseeing employee relations matters and promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Supporting compensation, benefits and HR administration processes.
- Coordinating training, learning and development programmes to enhance employee performance.
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, company policies and operational procedures.
- Partnering with managers and supervisors to provide HR guidance and ensure consistent policy application.
- Maintaining employee confidentiality and safeguarding sensitive HR information.
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this Human Resources Manager role, you should have:
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Previous management experience within a luxury hotel or premium hospitality environment.
- Experience in a Human Resources leadership position with responsibility for multiple HR functions.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, compensation, training and development.
- Excellent organisational, planning and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- Experience working within multicultural environments; international recruitment experience would be advantageous.
