Redpath Partners is partnering with a respected South Australian civil contractor with a strong pipeline of civil, structural and infrastructure projects. We are recruiting a Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of projects across Adelaide and regional areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a civil engineering professional looking to take ownership of project delivery while working alongside an experienced leadership team. You'll be involved in every stage of the project lifecycle, from planning and procurement through to construction and project completion, with genuine opportunities for career progression.

The Role:

  • Coordinate project delivery to achieve programme, budget and quality objectives.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and Site Supervisor to deliver civil and structural construction projects.
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site activities throughout the construction phase.
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications and site conditions to ensure successful project execution.
  • Assist with contract administration, including RFIs, variations, EOTs and progress claims.
  • Monitor project costs, forecasting and commercial reporting.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation using project management systems such as Procore.
  • Identify project risks and implement practical solutions to minimise delays and cost impacts.
  • Support a strong safety culture through quality assurance, inspections and compliance with WHS requirements.


About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • Experience delivering civil infrastructure or structural construction projects.
  • Exposure to DIT and SA Water projects is advantageous but not essential.
  • Sound understanding of construction methodologies, contracts and project delivery.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, organised and solutions-focused with the ability to manage competing priorities.
