Senior Accountant

EMEA Recruitment is searching on behalf of our client, a leading business services company, for a Senior Accountant to join their team.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for various duties, including managing full-cycle bookkeeping, financial reporting, and partnering with internal stakeholders to support an international client portfolio.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

• Prepare financial statements and manage complex bookkeeping under Dutch GAAP and IFRS principles
• Review and prepare client-specific monthly and quarterly reporting, including dividend distributions and capital contribution requests
• Review and coordinate Corporate Income Tax (CIT) and Value Added Tax (VAT) returns
• Prepare audit files and act as the key contact point to assist external auditors during statutory audits
• Maintain active communication with shareholders, client entities, banks, and other key external stakeholders

Experience required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting, Finance, Business Economics, or similar
• 4-6+ years’ relevant experience (preferably within trust services, an audit firm, or financial services)
• Fluent in English
• Strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP (IFRS knowledge is a plus)
