Siteforce Recruitment is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Supervisor to join a reputable electrical contractor delivering commercial construction projects across the Gold Coast. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader looking for long-term career growth while supervising quality commercial electrical installations.

You will oversee site operations, coordinate electrical teams, liaise with builders and subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise commercial electrical projects from commencement through to completion
  • Lead and coordinate electricians and apprentices on site
  • Schedule daily works and manage labour resources
  • Ensure all work complies with AS/NZS 3000 and Queensland electrical regulations
  • Coordinate with builders, project managers and other trades
  • Conduct toolbox talks and maintain a strong safety culture
  • Monitor project progress and meet programme deadlines
  • Manage QA documentation, site reporting and inspections
  • Order materials and coordinate deliveries
  • Mentor apprentices and junior electricians

Essential Requirements

  • Queensland Electrical Licence
  • Current CPR/LVR Certificate
  • Current White Card
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Previous experience supervising commercial electrical projects
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

Highly Regarded

  • High-rise construction experience
  • EWP Licence
  • Working at Heights
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Experience managing multiple crews
  • Experience with Procore, Aconex or similar construction management software
