Through Rio Tinto's partnership with Chandler Macleod, we are seeking experienced Fixed Plant Operators to join the team at Marandoo in the Pilbara.
This FIFO role from Perth offers the opportunity to work across a range of fixed plant processing equipment while contributing to the safe and efficient operation of one of Rio Tinto's world-class iron ore operations. Working on an alternating 8:6 / 7:7 day and night shift roster, you will play a key role in supporting production targets, plant reliability and operational safety.

Reporting to the Supervisor and working in a collaborative and safety-focused environment, you will:
- Operate and monitor fixed plant equipment including crushers, screens, conveyors, stackers and reclaimers
- Conduct routine inspections and identify defects or abnormal operating conditions
- Undertake basic fault finding and troubleshooting activities
- Support plant reliability through cleaning, housekeeping and preventative maintenance tasks
- Operate associated mobile equipment as required
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the operation
- Maintain compliance with Rio Tinto safety standards, procedures and policies
- Previous fixed plant, processing plant or heavy industrial operations experience
- Exposure to crushing, screening, conveying or mineral processing equipment
- Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Current C Class Manual Driver's Licence
- Current Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets highly regarded
- High Risk Work Licences including Forklift, EWP or Rigging are advantageous
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- FIFO from Perth
- 8:6 / 7:7 alternating days and nights roster
- 12.5-hour shifts (Thursday to Thursday swing change)
- Contract through to January 2027
- Competitive flat rates ranging from $53.33 to $57.49 per hour
- Superannuation paid on all hours worked
