About the Role:

Reporting to the Head of HR, this standalone Talent Acquisition position offers the opportunity to take ownership of the complete recruitment lifecycle across a diverse portfolio of vacancies.

Partnering closely with leaders and hiring managers across multiple functions, you will provide expert recruitment support covering workforce planning, vacancy briefings, advertising, candidate attraction, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, reference checking, offer management, onboarding administration and stakeholder engagement.

The role supports recruitment activity across corporate services, administration, finance, technology, facilities, operations, customer-facing services and specialist workforce groups, while also assisting with professional and technical recruitment needs when required.

As the organisation's dedicated talent acquisition specialist, you will play a key role in enhancing hiring outcomes, building talent pipelines, delivering exceptional candidate experiences and strengthening employer brand presence.
This position requires a proactive and consultative recruitment professional who can confidently manage multiple concurrent vacancies while maintaining high service standards and compliance requirements. 

This is a contract role to fill in whilst the incumbent is taking long service leave.  

About You:

You are an experienced internal recruiter or talent acquisition specialist who thrives in fast-paced and complex environments. You enjoy partnering with stakeholders, influencing hiring decisions and delivering positive outcomes for both candidates and hiring managers.

You will bring:
  • Proven end-to-end recruitment experience in a qualified workforce environment 
  • Demonstrated capability managing multiple concurrent vacancies across diverse job families and workforce groups.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills with the ability to influence and advise leaders at varying levels.
  • Experience using contemporary sourcing methodologies including direct sourcing, talent pooling, networking and online recruitment platforms.
  • A strong commitment to candidate care, employer branding and recruitment best practice.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage recruitment administration and compliance activities.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation, equal employment opportunity principles and contemporary talent acquisition practices.
  • Experience using HRIS and applicant tracking systems, ideally ELMO or similar technology platforms.
  • The ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a broader People & Culture team.
