HR Business Partner

We are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our headquarters.

In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to employees, team leads, and managers across multiple divisions and departments. You will play a key role in supporting people initiatives, driving HR excellence, and helping shape a positive and high-performing work environment.

Reporting to the Manager HR for KDEM, this position offers a broad HR scope across the full employee lifecycle within a dynamic, multicultural, and matrix organization with close collaboration across international stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing

Partner with the business

• Act as the main HR contact for employees, team leads, and managers up to Manager level
• Provide practical HR advice and support on day-to-day people topics
• Build trusted relationships and guide leaders through employee and organizational matters
• Support employee engagement and contribute to a positive workplace culture

Support growth and performance

• Partner with managers on performance management, talent development, succession planning, and team effectiveness
• Support organizational changes and workforce planning initiatives
• Translate business priorities into people actions and development opportunities

Lead people processes

• Support and improve core HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, performance cycles, compensation reviews, and offboarding
• Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with local legislation
• Maintain accurate HR administration and employee data across systems including AFAS, SharePoint, Board, and Yuuvis

Drive HR projects and continuous improvement

• Support and lead HR initiatives across KDEM
• Contribute to projects focused on employee experience, process improvement, and organizational effectiveness
• Collaborate with HR colleagues and business stakeholders to deliver impactful HR solutions

What you bring

• You are a people-focused and commercially aware HR professional who combines strong business understanding with a hands-on approach.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
• 7+ years of relevant HR experience, ideally as an HR Business Partner or in a broad HR Generalist role
• Experience across employee relations, performance management, talent management, and HR policy implementation
• Knowledge of Dutch employment law and HR practices in an international environment
• Experience supporting organizational change and HR projects
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills
• Experience working in a multicultural and matrix organization; experience within a Japanese or internationally governed environment is a plus
• Fluent Business English skills; German is considered an advantage
• Open to Business Travel
