Senior Electrical Commissioning Specialist

Join a leading engineering and project delivery team supporting major energy and resources projects. We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Commissioning Specialist to play a key role in the safe and successful delivery of complex commissioning activities across brownfield and greenfield environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commissioning professional with strong electrical expertise to contribute to critical project milestones, work alongside high-performing teams, and support operational readiness on large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and promote a strong commissioning safety culture across all activities
• Provide technical expertise for electrical commissioning and system handovers
• Manage commissioning priorities, schedules, completions and close-out activities
• Ensure commissioning activities are completed in accordance with approved procedures
• Support electrical switching programs, system energisation and commissioning execution
• Coordinate commissioning documentation and completion records
• Ensure commissioning spares, integrity requirements and handover deliverables are effectively managed
• Work closely with project teams, contractors and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• 10+ years' experience in electrical commissioning, project delivery or operational readiness roles
• Current WA Electrical Licence
• Strong understanding of HV and LV switching programs
• Experience with electrical protection systems and commissioning methodologies
• Exposure to oil & gas, energy, resources or heavy industrial projects
• Experience with ABB switchgear highly regarded
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and project delivery excellence
• Flexibility to attend site as required
