Maintenance Mechanic

Nesco Resource is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic!

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for a full-time opportunity in a fast-paced Precast construction environment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience maintaining and repairing industrial production equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production machinery and equipment.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
  • Maintain and repair motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, chains, belts, and rollers.
  • Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and basic fabrication as needed.
  • Replace worn or damaged mechanical components.
  • Lubricate, adjust, and service production equipment.
  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance needs.
  • Assist with equipment installations and modifications.
  • Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and all required safety procedures.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
  • Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.

Qualifications

  • Previous industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, mechanic, or heavy equipment repair experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Knowledge of motors, pumps, bearings, gearboxes, and conveyor systems.
  • Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
  • Basic electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attendance and reliability.
