Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Overtime as needed)
Job Description

The ideal candidate is an experienced production machine operator who possesses exceptional attention to detail, maintains a commitment to superior quality standards, and is proficient in identifying and resolving minor mechanical issues.
Duties and Responsibilities

Machinery Management: Oversees, manages, and operates packaging machinery alongside manual equipment, cutting, forming, taping, and other essential production machinery.
Setup & Calibration: Prepares and calibrates complex machinery for upcoming production cycles to ensure minimal downtime.
Press & Cardboard Operations: Manages letter presses and standard press equipment, and cuts cardboard materials to meet precise project specifications.
Product Branding: Accurately applies branding and corporate logos to specified packaging materials.
Troubleshooting: Performs routine troubleshooting on equipment and reports any major mechanical malfunctions to management so repairs can be scheduled.
Quality Assurance: Ensures that all production outputs consistently meet rigorous quality, accuracy, and efficiency standards.
Collaboration: Partner effectively with production team members and quality assurance staff to maintain continuous workflow.
Maintenance: Performs daily housekeeping in the work area to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient environment.
Qualifications
Experience: Extensive professional experience in machine operation is required. Prior experience within the packaging, printing, or manufacturing sectors is highly preferred.
Skills:
Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform duties autonomously.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating guidelines, and project diagrams.
Strong basic math skills to calculate project dimensions and material yields accurately.
Exceptional attention to detail with a strict commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to frequently stand for extended periods of time and routinely lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Availability: Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work the full shift, including any required overtime.
Screening: Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and E-Verify screening.
