We are looking for a Business Unit Manager to join a global leader in the medical device industry.
The successful candidate will manage the growth of both new and existing products in the interventional cardiology sector.
This hybrid role is based in Tokyo and offers a competitive salary with an incentive bonus.
About the Role:
The Business Unit Manager will oversee a business unit with a revenue of less than $10 million and a team of fewer than 10 people.
The role involves developing and executing strategies for product growth, launching new products, and communicating effectively with global and regional leaders.
This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, leadership, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Responsibilities:
• Business Management: Develop and execute strategies to drive product growth.
• Team Leadership: Manage a small team, providing training and development.
• Product Launches: Oversee the introduction and stabilization of new products.
• Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with global and regional leaders.
• Market Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs).
Requirements:
• Experience: Proven track record as a Business Unit Manager, Sales Manager, or Marketing Manager.
• Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills in English (business level) and Japanese (native or fluent).
• Industry Knowledge: Expertise in interventional cardiology or willingness to quickly learn.
• Leadership: Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and team management skills.
• Mindset: Entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to drive business growth.
