About the Role
We are seeking experienced RHEL Infrastructure Engineers to join a high-performing team responsible for delivering and maintaining secure, scalable, and resilient Linux-based platforms.
In this role, you will design, implement, and support enterprise-level RHEL environments underpinning critical services. You’ll be heavily involved in system integration, automation, and ongoing platform optimisation across virtualised infrastructure.

You are a skilled infrastructure engineer with strong Linux expertise and a passion for delivering secure, reliable systems in complex environments.

Candidates must also be willing to undergo an Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) prior to engagement.

Location: The role is based in Adeliade SA
Contract terms: 12 months from commencement date, plus 2x 12 month extensions
Experience Level: Senior – APS6 Equivalent
Security Requirements: Candidates must hold an active or reactivatable Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) Security Clearance on submission. Our client is not looking to upgrade an existing clearance for this position. An OSA (Organisational Suitability Assessment) will be required for this position.

- Developing and operating integrated Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) server platforms
- Testing, certifying, and maintaining RHEL OS builds and system images
- Integrating RHEL systems with VMware environments
- Implementing and supporting automation and configuration management solutions
- Managing and integrating security tools and MFA solutions
- Performing system health checks, monitoring, and performance optimisation
- Designing and maintaining backup and recovery services for virtualised systems
- Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and driving resolution
- Supporting server migrations and infrastructure upgrades
You are a skilled infrastructure engineer with strong Linux expertise and a passion for delivering secure, reliable systems in complex environments.
To be successful, you will bring:
- Proven hands-on experience with RHEL system administration and engineering
- Strong understanding of infrastructure operations, including availability, performance, and resilience
- Experience working with virtualisation technologies (e.g. VMware)
- Exposure to automation and scripting for infrastructure provisioning and management
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues
- Strong understanding of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
Candidates must also be willing to undergo an Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) prior to engagement.
