About the client- Our construction client is looking for Senior Security Architect that is strategic and delivery-focused role responsible for designing and guiding the implementation of enterprise security capabilities across key transformation initiatives. This position is heavily aligned to project delivery, with a primary focus on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) initiatives and a Network Segmentation project, complemented by a small proportion of business-as-usual (BAU) work to mature security architecture frameworks and reusable patterns.

- Data Loss Prevention technologies and architecture
- Cloud security (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Network security and Zero Trust architecture
- Application and API security
- Security tools (SIEM, EDR, DLP, CASB, etc.)
- Experience with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SABSA, TOGAF)
- Understanding of secure SDLC and DevSecOps practices
- 7+ years in cyber security, with 8+ years in architecture or senior security roles
- Hands-on experience delivering Security architecture for a large-scale DLP project
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise security solutions
- Experience in large, complex IT environments
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cyber Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Relevant certifications such as:
- o CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- o SABSA (desirable)
- o TOGAF (desirable)
- o Cloud security certifications (e.g., CCSP, AWS Security Specialty)
