Schedule

• Shift: 1st Shift
• Hours: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Occasional Fridays

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Grind, clean, and finish welded products as needed.
• Measure and verify dimensions using measuring tools and gauges.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.
• Report equipment issues, quality concerns, or safety hazards promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred.
• Welding certification is a plus but not required.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of welding techniques, metal fabrication, and quality standards.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, sparks, and fumes.
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including a welding helmet, gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toe boots.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, or aluminum.
• Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
