Converting Operator – 2nd Shift

Nesco Resource is now hiring for a 2nd Shift Converting Operator position at a local facility in Lenoir, NC. Candidates will train on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift.

Job Description and Requirements

• Operate slitter and converting machinery safely and efficiently.

• Convert wide rolls of industrial films and fabrics into specific widths and tightly wound spools.

• Perform precision cutting and width adjustments according to production specifications.

• Complete machine setups and material/product changeovers.

• Inspect finished materials for defects and ensure quality standards are met.

• Take accurate measurements and ensure products remain within required tolerances.

• Monitor equipment and materials throughout the production process.

• Assist with production line needs and maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Follow all established safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.

• Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Training Shift: 1st Shift – Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM

Regular Shift: 2nd Shift – Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:00 PM

Important: Candidates must be available to train on 1st shift before transitioning to the regular 2nd shift schedule.
