Project Manager – Client Side | Canberra

The Opportunity

We are partnering with a highly regarded global property and project management organisation to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join its growing Canberra team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within an established project management team delivering a diverse portfolio of high-profile projects across sectors including commercial, government, defence, workplace, education and infrastructure.

You will take ownership of projects from early planning and design through to delivery and handover, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders.

The Role

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Managing projects through the full project lifecycle
• Developing and managing project programmes, budgets and reporting
• Coordinating consultants, contractors and key stakeholders
• Managing procurement and tender processes
• Identifying and mitigating project risks
• Monitoring project delivery, quality, cost and programme
• Building strong relationships with clients and supporting the growth of the Canberra business
• Providing clear and proactive communication throughout the project lifecycle

About You

We are keen to speak with Project Managers who have:

• 4+ years of project management or relevant construction industry experience
• Experience working within a client-side project management consultancy, contractor or similar environment
• Exposure to commercial, government, defence, infrastructure, education or complex building projects
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• A relevant qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Property or a related discipline
• The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• An existing or ability to obtain the required security clearance would be advantageous
