Apply directEMEA Recruitment is partnering with an international retailer to find a Business Analyst.
The Business Analyst will play a key role within the EU Finance team, partnering directly with Customer Experience, HR, and Sales to provide data insights, optimize store labor costs, and drive business decision-making across European markets.
Responsibilities of the Business Analyst

KPI & Wage Analysis: Prepare, analyze, and share daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports on Store Operations and Wages across defined European countries.

Cost Optimization & Project Support: Partner with local District Managers and Customer Experience teams to identify wage and cost opportunities, contributing to and leading process improvements.

Forecasting & Month-End Support: Assist management with wage hours forecasting and actuals reviews during month-end cycles linking store operational reality to the company's financial results.

Data & System Management: Maintain data integrity and drive reporting solutions in Power BI and Excel to ensure accurate KPI measurement.

Cross-Team Collaboration: Communicate and influence across teams to monitor store hours, evaluate labor efficiency, and support broader financial processes around store wages.
Experience Required

Education & Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field with 2–5 years of relevant financial or business analysis experience.

Domain Expertise: Experience in Workforce Management (WFM), Labor Cost Analysis, or retail/store operations is a strong advantage.

Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (an Excel assessment forms part of the process) and experience with reporting tools like Power BI.

International Scope: Exposure to working within an international environment or complex cost structures across Europe.

Languages: Fluent in English; knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
