HR Manager

Job Summary

The HR Manager will act as a key support to the HR Director and oversee both HRM and HRD functions. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations, supporting a small HR team, and ensuring effective HR delivery for approximately 500 employees. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment with high accountability.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & Team Support

• Act as a right hand to the HR Director in managing overall HR operations
• Supervise and support 2 HR assistants
• Ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations within a 4-person HR team

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

• Manage end-to-end recruitment process for roles from junior level up to Manager level
• Coordinate with external headhunters and agencies
• Ensure timely hiring to meet business needs

HRD / Learning & Development

• Support and execute training and development initiatives
• Support capability development programs across the organization

HRM / Employee Management

• Oversee HR operational matters for approximately 500 employees
• Support employee relations and general HR administration
• Ensure HR policies and processes are followed consistently

Stakeholder Management

• Communicate and coordinate frequently with HQ in English
• Work closely with business leaders and MD as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a well-established university with competitive entrance requirement. 
• Strong experience in both HRM and HRD functions
• Proven experience in recruitment (multi-level hiring)
• Strong English communication skills (must be able to liaise with HQ)
• High attention to detail is critical — candidates lacking accuracy and discipline will not succeed in this role
• Resilient, hands-on, proactive, and able to handle a demanding workload
• Comfortable working in a lean HR team environment
