About our client
Looking for steady work on major civil projects? We're hiring experienced Concreters, Steel Fixers and Formworkers to join established crews across Townsville and North Queensland. With ongoing work on large infrastructure and commercial projects, you'll be involved in everything from slabs and panels to kerb and channel, drainage, pavements and general civil concrete works. If you're reliable, take pride in your trade and enjoy working with a solid crew, we want to hear from you.
What you'll do
Depending on your experience, duties may include:
• Place and finish concrete
• Formwork
• Steel fixing
• Kerb and channel installation
• Operating hand tools, small plant and machinery
• General labouring duties to support concreting crews
• Working safely as part of a high-performing team to meet project deadlines
What you'll need
Experience in concreting, steel fixing & formwork in civil construction, commercial or related trades
White Card (mandatory)
Relevant RII or trade qualifications (highly regarded)
Driver's licence and reliable transport
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
Additional plant tickets (e.g. Bobcat, Roller, Moxy, Excavator) are an advantage
Benefits
• $45 - $60/hr + penalties + super
• Day shift rosters (generally 6:30am starts)
• Overtime and weekend work available during peak periods
• Long-term, consistent work across major projects in North Queensland
• Supportive teams with strong safety culture
• Opportunities to progress into Leading Hand, Foreman or Specialist roles
