$20.00-$22.00 hr.
Summary
Perform finishing tasks on all types of orthodontic appliances in accordance to doctor specifications. Perform high quality and detailed tasks ensuring high quality and efficiency.
Essential Functions
• Perform finishing tasks on all orthodontic appliances including trimming, polishing, smoothing, and final detailing as required
• Work with electro-polishing machine, steam machine, tumblers, handheld and bench grinding machine
• Understand and identify defects in accordance with applicable workmanship standards
• Clean and prepare appliances for packaging and shipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
• Record production information and track work progress
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet production goals
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
• Ability to work in a stationary, standing position for several hours at a time
• Ability to manipulate and work with tedious and small parts
• Ability to read and interpret job orders, specifications, and small print for assemblies
• Ability to use handheld, semi-automatic, and automatic machinery including but not limited to: tumblers, steam machine, grinding machines, and electro polishers
• Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality results in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Required Experience & Education
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in manufacturing, dental, orthodontic, or medical device production preferred
