We’re interested in HSE professionals with hands-on experience across open pit mining and production, including:
- Open pit mining operations
- Load & haul
- Drill & blast
- Mobile mining equipment
- Crushing and screening
- Processing and fixed plant
- Mine infrastructure and operational support
- Mining contractor environments
- Shutdowns and maintenance
- HSE systems, compliance and continuous improvement
What You'll Bring
To be considered, you will ideally have:
- Cert IV in Work Health & Safety (WHS) or equivalent
- 3+ years' HSE experience in open pit mining / production
- Strong understanding of mining HSE legislation, standards and site requirements
- Experience with risk assessments, JHAs/JSEAs, inspections and audits
- Incident investigation and reporting experience
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- The ability to work autonomously and confidently in a site-based environment
- Current Australian working rights
Depending on the opportunity, the following will be highly regarded:
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE)
- VOC and competency assessment experience
- Previous training or operational mining experience
- Drill & blast exposure
- Load & haul experience
- Mobile plant and heavy equipment exposure
- Crushing, screening or processing experience
- Contractor management
- HSE management systems and implementation
- Auditing, reporting and compliance
